Dividend Stocks Under $50

A lower share price does not make a stock cheaper in any meaningful sense — a $40 share of a company worth $200 billion is not a discount on anything. What a price ceiling does do is make position sizing easier for smaller accounts, where a single $500 share forces an all-or-nothing decision. This screen lists US-listed companies trading under $50 that currently pay a dividend, ranked by yield.

Screening criteria

  • Share price at or below $50
  • Pays a dividend (annual dividend greater than zero)
  • Listed on NASDAQ, NYSE or AMEX
  • Ordinary shares only — no funds or ETFs

What this screen does not tell you

Yield alone is a poor filter. An unusually high figure often means the share price has fallen rather than the payout has risen, and the dividend may be cut before the next payment date. Check the payout history and the sector before treating a high yield as an opportunity.

Note

A screen is a filter, not a recommendation. Nothing here accounts for your circumstances, and inclusion is not a view on any company. See our methodology for where this data comes from.
